Windy City, USA

The BEST part of this trip hands down was Chicago! I AM IN LOVE WITH THAT CITY. I talked to Babs last night about all the reasons why I love it. I decided that if I can convince either her or Handro to of there for dental school I won't have to move there all by myself. A girl needs her best friend you know???  I keep comparing Chicago to San Diego because it's the only other city I've loved that much instantaneously. The biggest difference that San Diego still felt new. I felt like I loved it but it was a new place, almost like an " I can do this feeling". Chicago feels like home. I was walking around and felt like I was on the east coast and that everyone was bustling around and so busy and so into themselves. I wish I could write a blog post just on how much I loved it.

I had 3 major requests on this trip- I had to see a game at Wrigley Field, the bean, and the Marilyn Monroe statue. We did everything except Marilyn because they had just moved her from Millennium park to Palm Springs, CA two days earlier. What are the chances?!!! I now have to plan a trip down there just to see that statue.  I'm sure it can be done.

They even have beaches there!!!

They gave out free samples, so we said YOLO and took a 5 hour energy. tastes disgusting but actually very effective! No jitters and no crash!

Probably one of my favorite pictures of all time

I've decided to buy a ball cap every time I go to a game :)

The food at this place was amazing. Just down the street from our hotel
Anyway, anything that could be done in Chicago was done! We hit the zoo, millennium park and all the fun things there, wrigley field/cub game.  I am still so excited about it. I tried to recap my trip in every detail to Rachelle last night over the phone. She was a good sport.
